Welcome Bonsai Fanatics, serious succulent & cactus collectors, air plant enthusiast and weekend gardeners.  My name is Michael Klasno, my e-bay friends know me as the West Coast Plant Guy.

My passion for about 25 years has been bonsai plants.  I have grown them from seed, cuttings, air-layers, root cuttings, every way possible. Some methods with great success others not so. As tou can guess, the  southern California desert is not the ideal place to grow most types of bonsai trees.

However, the propagation of  aloe, cactus, succulents  & caudiciform plants is another story, they love the dry hot summers (providing you have good soil and lots of water) and the mildly cool (10 – 15 nights of light frost a year) short winters.

Thus began my journey, 5 or 6 years ago, into the world of succulents!

So sit back and enjoy the ride as we discover the wonderful world of cactus, succulents & caudiciforms.
